If you're looking to address disordered eating or an eating disorder with coexisting chronic conditions, let’s get you feeling better, together.

Many tools support symptom relief without going down the path of restriction.

We’ll co-create a plan to nurture habits directed by your values.

Packages

All packages begin with an Initial Assessment. Our first meeting is 75 minutes long and includes a conversation about health and diet history, a review of your intake forms, and lots of Q&A.

The investment for the Initial Assessment is $150.

At this first appointment, Melinda will help you choose the best package. Please plan on spending 4-6 months working together. It takes time to unlearn long-held patterns and habits, make progress on symptoms, and build a new relationship with food.

If you choose not to select a Package, individual follow-up sessions are available for $135.

Frequently Asked QUESTIONS

  • I see clients at my downtown Bend, Oregon location, and work virtually across Oregon, WA, CA, and many other states using a HIPAA-compliant portal. State licensing dictates where I’m able to see clients; please inquire!

  • Meaningful change to shift chronic health conditions and your relationship with food usually takes months, even years, not weeks.

I invite you to step out of the “30-Day Challenge” model we often see in the wellness world.

I work with clients for an average of four months for brief interventions to long-term, ongoing support.

  • While I am not a therapist, the relationship can feel therapeutic, and I offer resources from some schools of therapy practice. I am happy to coordinate care with your therapist, and if needed, can help you find one as part of our work together.

  • I’m in-network with Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Oregon Health Plan/Medicaid, PacificSource commercial & OHP , Providence, Regence, UnitedHealthcare, and Medicare.

Schedule a call to get started and check your benefits.

Medicare covers diabetes and chronic kidney disease diagnoses only.

If you would like to explore OON benefits for other insurance providers, I can provide a superbill for potential reimbursement. I offer payment for FSA/HSA spending.

  • To make personalized coaching more accessible, I offer several sliding scale slots, prioritized for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, larger-bodied and disabled clients.

I currently see no-cost and sliding-scale clients through Project Heal, an incredible eating disorder non-profit. To check and see if I have spots available, please submit through my contact form.

  • Possibly. I work with people who are medically stable, ready for virtual outpatient treatment, and on a spectrum from disordered eating to ED diagnosis.

Outpatient ED treatment usually involves working with a coordinated care team with a combination of nutrition, therapy, primary care, psychiatry, and movement support.

Many eating disorders go undiagnosed, with a voice saying you must be “sick enough” to seek help.

If we determine during our time together you need a higher level of care than I can provide, I’ll work to help you find resources.
